Abstract

OBJECTIVES: To evaluate the importance of Doppler in obstetrics by ultrasound sector archival material of a picture clinic in Goiânia, Goiás. METHODS: This was an observational, descriptive and retrospective study that included all examinations of Doppler obstetric performed in patients at the Clinica Fertile in Goiânia between January 2013 and April 2015. RESULTS: Of the 1172 examinations, 1088 were included in the study and only 150 (13.78%) showed abnormalities on Doppler and the presence of bilateral notch from uterine artery the most frequent change (5.51% of the total and 40% of abnormal tests) and reverse diastole the most unusual, with one case (0.66% of the total and 0.09% donate abnormal tests). CONCLUSION: The frequency of obstructive, anemic and malformation models were 5.51%, 1.56% and 0.36%. The prevalence of alterations was 13.78%. Fetal centralization was observed in 1,74%, diastole zero in 0,56% and reverse in 0,09%. The most practiced gestational age was between 31 and 35 weeks.
