Abstract

Neuroblastoma is the term commonly used to refer to a neuroblastic spectrum of tumors including ganglioneuroblastomas the ganglioneuromas and neuroblastomas. They may originate in any part of the sympathetic nervous system, neck, pelvis, and in 70% of cases occurring in the abdomen. Usually appear during fetal or early in life as tumor of intermediate cells, both benign and malignant, accounting for about 8 to 10% of solid tumors in children, especially infants under one year. The objective of this study is to report the case of a five year old child who had a persistent anemia from a year of life. They will be assessed imaging methods and performed medical procedures. It discusses the importance of early research to determine the optimal treatment and prevention of metastases, as well as the relevance of ultrasonography in search of abdominal masses.
