Ultrasound diagnosis of rib fracture

The diagnosis of rib fractures is usually done with x-rays. These three cases and the literature review show that ultrasound can be quite sensitive to diagnose rib fractures and can have not only an occasional, but a primary role on making this diagnosis in some patients.
