Abstract

Hemangioma is the most common benign hepatic lesion. Atypical ultrasound (US) findings occurs in 20% of the cases. The US should be complemented, specially by the magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), that elucidates the diagnosis to correct treatment, suppressing possible damages to the patient. The present report describes a case of a 29-year-old woman, with two atypical hepatic hemangiomas on US.
