Abstract

A case of tropical pyomyositis is presented, reporting its clinical presentation, laboratory tests, as well as its evolution. The goal is to describe the characteristic of this disease, the different diagnostic tools and the possible complications. We conclude that successful treatment depends upon the presence or absence of comorbidity and early diagnosis of this disease.
