Abstract

Pentalogy of Cantrell is a rare entity of congenital defects involving the abdominal wall, sternum, diaphragm, pericardium and heart. The complete pentalogy and its variants have been described in the literature. We report a 19 years old girl pregnant of a fetus with a complete pentalogy of Cantrell, diagnosis by ultrasound at 18ª week’s gestation. The miscarriage was allowed by judge authorization and the patient developed well.
