Abstract

Fetal gastroschisis is a defect of the anterior abdominal wall in which the intestines and other abdominal organs protrude from the abdomen through a small hole. It is more common among young women, especially under 20 years old. Early detection through ultrasound examination allows preparation and planning. This study aims to describe a case detected at the 12th week of gestation through ultrasonographic examination, with surgical correction after birth.
