Abstract

OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the main discordant ultrasonographic diagnoses, during prenatal care, between the primary and tertiary levels of the Unified Health System of the State of Goiás. MATERIAL AND METHODS: A descriptive, cross-sectional, prospective study carried out between July 2017 and June 2018 in a fetal medicine outpatient clinic with pregnant women with structural anomalies. RESULTS: 20.19% of the diagnoses referred from primary institutions were in disagreement with those found in the tertiary institution. CONCLUSION: Investing in the technological improvement of markers of malformations and in the training of professionals is essential to minimize diagnostic divergences and provide adequate guidance for parents.
