The association with topical and ectopia gestation – heterotopic – is rare and occurs; approsimately in 1 each 30,000 gestations, being a condition potentially fatal due to the hypovolaeynic shock in case of rupture. According to Condous et al., the diagnosis of ectopic pregnancy may be achieved through transvaginal ultrasonography in about 90,9% of the cases before surgery, diminishing, so, the number of false-positive in the laparoscopy. This case report detaches the importance of the ultrasonographic exam, mainly when done by the transvaginal method, in the first trimester of gestation, valorizing the study of the ovarium.
