ultrassonografia na síndrome dos ovários policísticos

A European Society for Human Reproduction (ESHRE), em conjunto com a American Society of Reproductive Medicine (ASRM) sugeriu, em 2003, que o diagnóstico de síndrome dos ovários policísticos seria realizado quando dois destes três critérios estivessem presentes: hiperandrogenismo clínico ou laboratorial, anovulação crônica (oligo ou amenorreia) e ovários policísticos à ultrassonografia. Esta revisão tem por objetivo evidenciar a importância da ultrassonografia no diagnóstico desta patologia.
